Red Zone is proud to highlight up and coming entrepreneurs in the city doing their thing. We know that these young entrepreneurs are working hard to give back to the city and be apart of Detroit's #TakeOver so we at Red Zone wanted to let them know how dope they are. Although you may hear the alleged roomers that the D is "so bad" or "there is nothing there" they are far from wrong. Detroit wasn't named the Motor City only because of the Automotive Industry making the city their home. We believe it was named the Motor City because of all the talent, hussle, and the undeniable spirit of never giving up. That spirit is exactly what 27 year old entrepreneur Natasja Mosley holds when it comes to her company Fourtwentytwo Boutique. Red Zone had the pleasure of interviewing Natasja and here is her story....

"As a Michigan Native and true Detroiter I have always held a true passion for style. My favorite form of fashion has always been young and contemporary. Traveling the world and social media  has inspired me in ways I could've never imagined when it comes to fashion. When I think of style and what influenced me the most it would have to be how beautiful I felt every time I’m wearing something new. Like most girls I’ve always loved shopping, but it’s something about looking good that will boost your self esteem. FourTwentyTwo Boutique was named after my birthday. It signifies the day god brought me into this world with purpose. Creating a boutique that highlights women and their beauty is what is meaningful to me. No matter how you may feel or what your going through, shopping normally comes as therapy to us all. FourTwentyTwo's mission is to provide quality pieces with luxury style. I take pride in the motto “Where fashion meets luxury”.  FourTwentyTwo thrives on providing a unique sense of style for a city that is known for setting trends. I started FourTwentyTwo online boutique after doing much research and taking classes from Ebony Swank. I launched FourTwentyTwo December 1st because I didn’t want to wait until the new year to start my resolution on building a brand that would last a lifetime. I look forward to working with more vendors in the future and networking to bring our visions alive. My ultimate goal is to have a storefront that could accommodate people in the city, and give back to the community for supporting me and my dream though fashion. Women empowerment means sticking together, while supporting one another for the same or a greater cause. It signifies unity, and strength through the love and support we give one another. I have a positive influence on who we are as a people and what we stand for."

So there it is Queens. Right from the lion's mouth. Let's continue to support these young black business on the come up in the city. In true fashion of the Red Zone we encourage you to follow your dreams. Step out of your comfort zone and step into your #RedZone and thrive! We got your back!
